Multiple award-winning challenge solver through InnoCentive.com/Wazoku.com (2012-2014, 2020); six challenges won + one Honorable Mention for the Tech Challenge to prevent Mass Atrocities ['Enablers']). One "winning idea" through OpenIDEO.com ('Fighting Ebola - A Grand Challenge for Health', 2014). Three awarded proposals on the HeroX.com platform (1st place award for the 'Alternative to Fear' [Collective Climate Action] challenge, 2019; 'Giving Award' / Most Original for the 'Blockchain for a Better World' challenge 2022, one award for NASA's 'Waste2Base Material' ['Trash'] challenge, 2022, and, One (of four awardees) for NASA's 'Beyond Boundaries - New Tech Search' challenge (on Freelancer.com)... Plus a half dozen 'short-listed' (finalist/semi-finalist/top ten, etc) proposals through the first three of the above-noted OI platforms (2008 - 2022). In 2019, I was an XPrize Design contributor (through the XPrize community forums) and made the winning pitch for the 'Future of Longevity' XPrize 'quick pitch' forum challenge (October, 2019) for my proposal: 'What We Talk About When We Talk About Aging.'. Current Professional Work: Guardian ad Litem (for ITA Court, Superior Court, King County, State of Washington), since January, 2019 (formerly: contract mitigation researcher/legal assistant, capital cases, DPD/ACA Division, 2010, 2015-2019). Recent Experience: New England Biolabs 'molecular biology boot-camp', Smith College, summer, 2017 (certified: molecular biologist). Multi-media artist (photo/film/video/digital), designer (a/v, lighting, art/concept, bio-med tech), writer (sci-tech-nature, print/web, with many published poetry, fiction, non-fiction credits). Producer and/or director of some 30 short films/videos (sketch comedies, original short dramas, art installation videos, video poetry, mini-docs, promos), including directing or co-directing three medium-length documentaries between 1987 and 1991 dealing with natural history/environment, conservation, and the developmentally disabled.
