Charles Lipenga was born in Zomba, Malawi in 1988. In 2005, He received his Malawi School Certificate of Education by Malawi National Board (MANEB) at Marist Brothers’ Secondary school, Dedza, Malawi. In 2006, IMIS Diploma in Information Technology from The Institute of Technology Management (ITEM) in 2006, Blantyre, Malawi and received his Bachelor’s Degree in Architectural Studies from The University of Malawi (UNIMA), Malawi in 2010. 2007-2009 He was privileged to be the Publicity Director of University of Malawi Architectural Society (UMAS). In 2009 Charles was honorary appointed as a student lecturer at the University of Malawi, his leadership and innovative skills graced him with an opportunity to be appointed as the 2009 Ambassador of the University of Malawi where he represented Malawi at the 10th UNESCO International Restoration Seminar in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe. He was granted a Certificate for his valuable contribution by UNESCO at the 2009 Heritage Restoration Volunteers camp in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe. In his final year, he was appointed as the Chairman of the 2010 Architecture and Quantity Surveying graduating classes’ symposium committee and in the same year, just before graduating he founded Mimshak Designs which a leading architectural rendering firm in Malawi, where is also the managing director. 2011, Charles volunteered at Centre for Youth Rehabilitation (CYR) where he was got awarded for his contribution in rehabilitating and protecting the youth in Malawi. In 2012 he competed in the African competition for Young professional architects. 2013 he was awarded as the best Young professional African Architect organized by African Union of Architects (AUA). Later in the same year he Co-founded Maestros Leadership Company with the purpose of engaging people in mind transforming trainings and equipping people and organizations for a brighter and successful future of Africa. . In 2014, thus a year later, through his different initiatives under The Maestros leadership Teams across Africa, Charles was the recipient of The 2014 Future Africa Leaders’ Award in Lagos, Nigeria. In 2015 Maestros Leadership Company was awarded the 2015 Malawian Best achievers Award. Since 2015, Charles is a member of The Board of Trustees of TAYITO (The African Youth In Technology Organization), Network For Sustainable Youth Development (NSYD), and of Fount for Nations. Currently working as The Malawi President of TAYITO (The African Youth In Technology Organization); This is a registered NGO recognized by The United Nations with the purpose of achieving the MDGs and SDGs. Currently working at creating 70,000+ jobs for the people in the SADC region especially targeting the youth through vocational skill and entrepreneurship trainings, working with all the constituencies and furthering education and the use of technology especially in our young people. Charles is an author of 3 books, also a writer for College Magazine Leadership & Entrepreneurship Section Future Africa Leaders Ambassador, Director for Believers LoveWorld Campus Ministry for Malawi South. In 2015 He was the recipient of Best Achievers Award by TAYITO (The African Youth In Technology Organization, The Certificate of Appreciation by ENACTIM (Entrepreneurship in Action) for his significant contribution in raising up young entrepreneurs. The Certificate of Appreciation By 9TEA Inspire organization for Facilitating 2015 Young Africa Leaders Conference. The Certificate of Appreciation by (CAS) Cosmos Allied Services for providing Motivational teachings to Glo-Mobile Nigeria from April 2013- April 2015. The Certificate of Participation by Youth Connect International for facilitating 2015 Rebranding Your World Conference in Africa.
