bio
A marketing professional with more than 40 years of experience across a variety of private and government sector clients, I have expertise in developing and implementing marketing efforts on behalf of for-profit businesses and non-profit organizations. Translating strategic vision into effective business-building initiatives, thoughtful marketing solutions, and meaningful communication efforts, my capabilities include brand and business development, community relations, direct marketing, and multicultural marketing. I hold a BA in History from the College of Arts and Sciences at Oberlin College. In retirement, I am consulting with Radio Kingston on their underwriting program, a unique opportunity for businesses in the greater Kingston area to reach and engage with WKNY’s community-minded listeners through targeted sponsorship messages. In turn, 100% of the proceeds from the underwriting program support the Radio Kingston Community Fund, which helps Kingston community members in immediate need of financial assistance and supports other community initiatives. My commitment to Kingston is underscored by active participation in the community: as president of the Communities for Local Power board, a founding member of the Kingston Emergency Food Collaborative (food sovereignty for all!), and chair of the Live Well Kingston Commission.
