John H. Gerdes, Jr. received his BS and M. Eng. Degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University; MBA from Lehigh University; MS in Computer Science and PhD in Information Systems from Vanderbilt University. He was a member of the business school faculty of both The Ohio State University, and University of California, Riverside. Dr. Gerdes is currently an Associate Professor in Technology Support and Training Management at the University of South Carolina. His research has been appeared in Transactions of IIE, Decision Support Systems, CACM, and Annals of OR. Research interests include Privacy & Security, Web Data Mining.
