Climformatics, is a women-led company, co-founded by Dr. Detelina Ivanova (CTO) and Dr. Subarna Bhattacharyya (CEO), both former Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory climate modelers from IPCC’s Nobel winning working group 1, experts in climate and weather modeling, climate data science, and learning algorithms. Their technology has been successfully tested in various California and global pilots, earning recognition such as the DOE Solar Prize 'Ready' award in 2021 and the CALSEED 2022 concept award and CALSEED 2024 prototype award. As a member of UN Disaster Risk Reduction US Chapter, ARISE US, their team's expertise in climate modeling, data science, and AI positions them for success.
