Home Energy Retrofit Block Parties are community-driven events designed to promote and implement energy-efficient improvements in residential properties located in Birmingham's 99 neighborhoods. Multiple homes will be simultaneously retrofitted to transform entire city blocks from high energy to a low energy footprint thus offering residents security. The concept brings together homeowners, partners, and energy experts to assess and prioritize challenges related to high energy burden. By collaboratively addressing these challenges, the community aims to reduce energy consumption, lower utility bills, and contribute to environmental sustainability.
