Carbon + Hydrogen Innovation & Learning Incubator

The “Carbon and Hydrogen Innovation & Learning Incubator” (CHILI) will foster an ecosystem that drives innovation within the Greater Houston and Gulf Region. We are aligned with the goals of HyVelocity, the DOE Regional H2 Hub, and other large-scale decarbonization plans. We focus on creating a hydrogen ecosystem from the lab to the pre-commercial pilot stage by leveraging our local university, industry, and non-profit partners. Our Cohort 1 class of start-ups will benefit from multiple existing hydrogen programs we are in the process of expanding and integrating, as well as opportunities for pilot and offtake contracts with our partners.
