Omar Eleryan is the co-founder and CEO at Cleo Robotics, a Boston-based company specializing in next generation unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). Cleo’s Dronut UAV platform is a safe, compact and more capable alternative to quadcopter drones. Equipped with cutting edge intelligence and sensing, the Dronut can safely operate in GPS denied environments and ultra confined spaces. The company’s mission is to eliminate manned entry into dangerous and hazardous environments by utilizing artificial intelligence to collect critical data and navigate autonomously in cluttered and challenging environments. Omar holds a mechanical engineering degree and is deeply passionate about flight and aerospace technologies. Prior to founding Cleo, he worked in the oil industry where he experienced the extent of the dangers and high costs associated with confined space inspections.
