The team will advance state-of-the-art for cubesat/smallsat operations building on previous TRL9 EVA or IVA demonstrations such as Seeker, Ten-Koh 2, KRUP, Astrobee, and NMTSat. The technologies optimized are cold gas thrusters, pressure systems (manifolds and tanks), GN&C systems and attitude control, thermal control and TPS, data transfer and downlink, and inspection (leakage and damage detection). Results are expected to advance capabilities in human-operated and autonomous platforms used spacecraft and satellite inspection, maintenance and repair.
