Power Connector Support - Encolor Consulting

brief description

Encolor is a strategic consulting firm who ignites change using data to disrupt the status quo. We inspire authentic and collaborative spaces for those who have been excluded to reclaim their power.

Encolor can help you understand best practices for community outreach and engagement and help you customize them for the context of your community as you work to develop a hyperlocal vision for your clean energy or decarbonization projects during the Engage phase. We look forward to talking one-on-one and in small groups for everything from brainstorming to troubleshooting to analysis of what it all means and weaving it together.

Encolor hosted a webinar on Community Engagement Planning August 15. View the recording here: Meeting people where they are: Community engagement working session. Access the handout here: Community Engagement Strategy Workbook

They’ve also created a Community Engagement Database for applicants to use as you think about meaningful ways to co-create in their local communities. Accessible by Google Drive, the Table of Contents:Community Engagement Database is a multimodal resource spreadsheet to help you navigate the content. All the material is sorted by topic into folders in the drive. A glossary is also included for reference to have a shared definition for common words generally used in community engagement work.

This will be a living database, so check back regularly for new resources or email powerconnector@encolorconsulting.com to request resources.

Join Encolor for the first learning lab for Solve It Prize Phase 2: Engage! These conversations are meant to be open opportunities for teams to hear from one another and learn new strategies for engagement. Encolor and other Power Connectors will be there to participate in the dialogue, but you’re the center of the show.

While anyone can join, the purpose of this conversation will be to discuss experiences specific to rural communities. Want another topic on the books? Let us know at powerconnector@encolorconsulting.com. You can add the meeting below to your calendar on Friday, August 30 at noon ET, or email rdortin@encolorconsulting.com to be added directly to the invitation.
