Comunidades del Sol is a collaborative of Texas community leaders, housing providers, and energy professionals that aims to reduce the energy burdens of lower-income residents. Building on our past successes working with NREL and the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs
(TDHCA), we plan to increase the number of pilot solar installations within low income, energy burdened, and communities of color in Texas, in order
to learn and systematize the pathways needed to scale statewide.
