WiFi and lifi has been until now has been used for data transmission but since 2013,various research institutes as well as private startups are able to use it for truly wireless purpose .
Untill now commercially available wireless charging what we see in premium mobiles such as iphone or Samsung have been using close range charging which is electromagnetic inductive charging ( uses charging dock- Qi)
But companies such as energous with new technology called wattup can charge devices ota( over the air) - similar to simple WiFi.
University of Washington has developed similar system called poWifi which helps to charge devices on WiFi.
Israel startup Wi- charge has been able to charge using infrared laser technology.
What I am proposing here is use of lifi instead of WiFi for ota charging.
University of Purdue's research paper in e magazine
electronicdesign.com/ power is also in similar direction .
The model that I am proposing will get the solar panels to give electricity for lifi s and in return the lifi will charge indoor devices through ota charging thus eliminating cumbersome electrical wiring and thus reduce infrastructural costs.
Lifi is 100 times more powerful, less costly ,less hackable .
It has less interference from access points ( routers) and ecological impact is lesser.
Lifi has 10000 times more frequency spectrum and power use is low.Rate 224 Gbps/s
