Daniel Yu is the founder and CEO of Reliefwatch, a platform for organizations in the developing world to track essential supplies through basic mobile phones, which he started after witnessing pervasive product stockouts and expirations while living in rural Egypt. Through his work with Reliefwatch, Daniel has been awarded with numerous international honors, including the Prince of Wales Young Entrepreneur Award and was recently recognized by the White House as an Emerging Global Entrepreneur. Prior to founding Reliefwatch, Daniel worked as web developer and previously attended the University of Chicago where he focused on International Studies and Arabic.
