Joseph O. Evans III, LEED AP - BD+C, Sustainability and Resilience Planning, Environmental Design, Horticulture, Arboriculture Joseph Evans is an interdisciplinary artist environmental designer and specialist in sustainable development and resilience, bringing advanced design techniques and innovative building and site technologies to projects aimed at achieving a high degree of sustainability. Evans offers a distinctive perspective to teams focused on pushing the boundaries of conventional practices, while providing solutions to society’s most pressing ecological challenges. As a co-founding principal of Evans + Lighter, he holds licenses as a Horticulturist, Arborist, and is a LEED Accredited Professional with a specialization in Building Design and Construction. Joseph's systems design approach capitalizes on his diverse skill set and expertise, allowing him to humanize highly technical projects and transform them into engaging, sustainable environments, all while optimizing performance and cost efficiency. Evans and his firms have been awarded numerous national, and regional awards in planning and landscape architecture.
