KCKPS seeks to use training and capacity building to improve energy management and provide a healthier environment for students and staff.

Southwest Vermont Supervisory Union is focused on engaging facilities to support the sustainability of our schools.

Our students are concerned about climate change. Their school will have a 75kW solar array and geothermal heating and cooling.

We will switch to LED lighting, replace old/inoperable doors that do not seal properly, and replace asbestos ceiling and floor tiles.

We aim to reduce energy usage and improve IAQ at 3 schools by installing LEDS, HVAC upgrades, and/or upgrading automation building controls.
