As the world experiences worsening effects of climate change, Laminar Scientific strives to contribute pioneering technology to the Ocean Energy industry. Laminar Scientific was formed in late 2020 based on six pending patents that aim to provide low-cost, low material, and efficient solutions that can be adapted around the world.
While other wave energy companies rely on inefficient electrical compensatory means to tackle the multi-directional, chaotic Ocean environment, we designed efficient machines that tap into natural wave movements, mechanically rectify and smoothen chaotic multidirectional motion with world leading efficiencies, so that electric generators face only smooth, unidirectional motion. Our seven pending patents are currently undergoing prototyping and testing for efficiency and viability. We aim to tap into a vast, dense, and virtually endless source of energy.
