The Industrial Energy Storage Systems Prize is now open for submissions! This new prize sponsored by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Industrial Efficiency and Decarbonization Office (IEDO) is providing $4.8 million to spur innovation in industrial energy storage.
Energy storage solutions that can accommodate industrial-sized loads have the potential to accelerate the adoption of clean electricity for U.S. industrial facilities. To advance energy efficiency and innovation across industrial sectors and operations, the prize invites submissions of energy storage technologies that can be charged by thermal or electrical sources and provide heating, cooling, and/or power. Read the official rules for more details and eligibility requirements.
