Flexible batteries for heat stress wearables: The integration of a flexible battery in a wearable heat stress sensor offers several critical advantages over traditional stiff batteries: better sensor contact, better wearability, better mechanical response. The fully flexible battery allows the entire system to be very flexible, wirelessly charged and practical, whereas traditional stiff cell “patches” would immediately start impacting the heat stress sensor footprint.
