DOE has selected 21 winners in the 2024 Renew Americas Schools Prize and Grant to receive $300,000 for building diverse teams, identifying portfolios of schools and facilities in need of investment, and outlining processes for project planning and design.

Under the prize-to-cooperative agreement funding model, 16 of these prize winners will move on from the Phase One: Prize to Phases Two and Three: Cooperative Agreement and enter into cooperative agreements with DOE for a chance to win from $7.5 to $15 million each. DOE will continue to provide technical assistance to all 21 winners in the continued pursuit of their energy efficiency and clean energy goals.

Congratulations to the 21 Phase One winners of the 2024 Renew America’s Schools Prize! Thank you for your investment in your school communities to increase energy efficiency, decrease energy cost, improve indoor air quality, and foster healthier learning environments.
