Runergy Alabama Inc., a subsidiary of Runergy USA Inc., is dedicated to advancing the solar industry through innovation and sustainability. Our Huntsville, Alabama plant, aims for a 5 GW annual module capacity by 2025. We prioritize creating quality jobs and supporting economic growth while adhering to values of humility, practicality, honesty, generosity, and gratitude.
As we expand to into more production lines our workforce will need to grow to include advanced machine operators, engineering staff, quality control technicians, and logistics personnel. Continuous training and upskilling are essential to meet these evolving needs.
Training Partners:
Our training program, developed in partnership with Calhoun Community College and Energy Alabama, addresses both immediate and long-term workforce needs.
Calhoun Community College: Offers financial counseling and assistance, including year-round Pell Grants, enabling eligible students to complete their degrees faster. The college also provides tailored curricula and hands-on training. We plan to allocate a portion of our prize winnings for scholarships in advanced manufacturing and related fields.
Energy Alabama: Enhances outreach to schools, promoting STEM learning and Career Technical Education (CTE) programs, and conducts workshops to encourage careers in renewable energy.
