HSC Three Pillar Plan – Workforce Development for Solar Manufacturing
Expansion Needs: HSC is expanding its solar production, requiring additional, qualified employees. The skillsets are specialized and difficult to hire without customized training.
Specialized Training: HSC will address specialized workforce training through an accelerated program in partnership with Delta College.
Talent Pipeline: HSC’s plan will create a dedicated pipeline of qualified operators ready to deploy as solar expansion at HSC progresses.
HSC is partnering with Delta College to create a Chemical Process Technical Skills foundational program, which all new associate operators will complete before working in a chemical process onsite.
