Team
Let us know who's on the team! This allows us to know who is part of each team and give credit to each member. You use the HeroX Community to create a team and have all team members join (and we recommend that you do this), but we would also like to know more about the innovative people working together. In the field below, please provide details for each team member on separate lines. Refer to the example below for help.
Team Name
Our Borealis Team (Borealis was the code name for the project at its inception)

Short description of planned workforce training initiative
The planned workforce training initiatives are as follows:

Company Wide Training.
The R&D Engineers have identified five overview trainings that will be presented to the organization. These trainings introduce the five process in cell manufacturing. York Technical College, readySC, and the Silfab Marketing team will create a video for each process overview to use in training. Funding from the prize will assist with the cost of producing the videos.

Orientation/On Boarding.
- Working with York Technical College we have planned a 3 month (90 day) orientation that includes on-site training at the tools, on-site classroom training and courses at the College for specific functions.

- Working with York Technical College we will implement an apprenticeship program that starts when the equipment arrives through commissioning and production. This program will be one of kind as Tech Students will be introduced to N Type Cell Manufacturing in the U.S.

- York Technical College has agreed to work with us to develop courses that are specific to our equipment. One example is Metrology specific to our tools and product.

- Safety Training - York Tech, readySC, and the Silfab Safety Team will build out a training program to support our robust Saftey Program, Emergency Action Plan, Lock Out Tag Out, and general plant safety. To date all hazwoper training has been completed on site at York Technical College.

- Testing Lab - We are in the beginning phases of developing a test lab for our module production which will start in 2025. This is a great opportunity for the Silfab to utilize the University as a learning lab.
