Through strategic partnerships, specialized solar training, and ongoing case management, "Powering Possibilities with Illuminate & IMPACT Community Action" aims to create economic stability, mobility, and opportunities for self-sufficiency through employment with Illuminate USA, a domestic solar manufacturing facility in central Ohio. The proposed plan outlines a strategy to train new manufacturing workers with the skills they need to be successful in the solar manufacturing industry while addressing the unique barriers that those from disadvantaged communities often face. The proposal emphasizes an equity-centered approach to best support individuals from historically disadvantaged communities in Central Ohio.
