Celebrating Our Global Innovation Community and Announcing Team Benefits
Congratulations to all our innovators and teams for completing Stage 1 of the GoAERO challenge! We are thrilled to announce that the GoAERO competition has united over 1,400 innovators from over 60 countries across six continents! These pioneering individuals have formed 197 teams, each bringing their unique vision to revolutionize emergency response.
We are in the midst of reviewing Stage 1 submissions and continue to be impressed by the technical prowess and enthusiasm to change the world displayed by each Team. As a reminder, in February, GoAERO will award $10,000 to each of the top 10 submissions.
With Stage 1 submissions in, we are thrilled to officially launch Stage 2 of GoAERO. Stage 2 launches the Building Phase of the competition. This is when teams get to test out designs, turn their ideas into reality, and begin their builds to make people fly!
And remember: You don’t need to win a Stage 1 prize, or to have participated in Stage 1, in order to participate and win in Stage 2.

As Teams enter into the Stage 2 Building phase, GoAERO is proud to support all our innovators every step of the way. To that end, GoAERO has partnered with industry leaders to provide access to a myriad of incredibly valuable benefits throughout the entire competition. Global Aerospace: Specialized Insurance Coverage:
Global Aerospace, a leading provider of aerospace insurance, offers all eligible Stage 2 and Stage 3 GoAERO teams $1,000,000 of Aircraft Liability insurance for a flat rate of $1,500 (eligibility dependent on geographical jurisdiction). Contact GoAEROTeam@global-aero.com for detailed information.
Gardner Aviation Services: Expert FAA Navigation Support:
Gardner Aviation Services will advise GoAERO Teams on the FAA certification process. Sue and Jim Gardner bring 60 years of combined FAA experience to guide Stage 2 and Stage 3 teams with:
- Strategic navigation of FAA aircraft and airman certification pathways
- Personalized consultation for certification strategies
- Dedicated support (5 hours per team) for FAA documentation
- Access to an extensive network of FAA relationships
MATLAB and Simulink Access
Teams receive free access to these industry-leading computational and simulation tools, including:
