Below you will find our draft agenda, along with important details to prepare for your Individual Closed-Door Team Design Review during the Summit. Please review the guidelines carefully and schedule a slide review session, in advance of the Summit, as soon as possible. Team Design Reviews at the Summit will be scheduled on a first-come, first-serve basis.

  • Fly-Off experts—Hear from our Fly-Off event organizers and hosts
  • Media and video and PR—GoAERO video teams will be interviewing and filming teams to help with garnering publicity
  • First responders—Hear from experts including Tom Judge and John Everlove
  • Tuesday dinner—We have planned a special off-campus dinner for all GoAERO teams

TEAM DESIGN REVIEWS

Every team will have a design review with a panel of experts. Anticipate at least 45 minutes for a presentation and discussion. More details, a suggested outline, tips about your presentation can be found here. Please review them carefully and schedule a slide review session in advance of the GoAERO Summit, no later than May 7th.

VFS FORUM 81

The event will take place the day before and during the Vertical Flight Society’s Forum (May 20-22) in Virginia Beach, Virginia. All teams who attend the GoAERO Summit can use the discount code F81GOAERO to defray the cost of attendance of the VFS Forum.

HOTELS/FLIGHTS

VFS has provided discounted rates at hotels. (Extended until April 24th)

The closest airport is Virginia Beach’s Norfolk Airport.

Please note, there is NO COST to attending our GoAERO Summit (and Tuesday dinner will be provided), however each team is responsible for their own travel, hotel and costs.
