Join us for the culminating event of the Innovating Distributed Embedded Energy Prize (InDEEP). Throughout this prize, competitors have designed, built, and tested single distributed embedded energy converter (DEEC) prototypes that could be tailored for wave energy conversion, and integrated their individual DEEC prototypes into a larger metamaterial. The prize will conclude in March at a final event hosted at NREL, where competitors will share presentations on their final concepts.
When: March 5-7, 2025
Where: National Renewable Energy Laboratory, South Table Mountain Campus (15013 Denver W Pkwy, Golden, CO, 80401)

What to Expect
Throughout the three-day event, InDEEP participants will have the opportunity to network and learn from other competitors and stakeholders in addition to presenting their final concepts to a panel of reviewers. Up to four final winners will be selected and awarded $200,000 each on the final day of the event.
Interested stakeholders are encouraged to attend to connect with the InDEEP competitors, hear about their innovative DEEC concepts, and learn how you can support the teams’ success beyond the prize.
