One of the most challenging things when hospitalized is getting the food you want when you want it.
Also eating together and preparing meals as a family is one of the most basic activities families does together.
I imagine a huge vending machine with knækbrød, bread, cheese, yoghurt, chocolate, milk, salat, tomato, cucumber, mayo, butter etc. A tray is inside the machine. When you put in your patient code (by hand, chip etc), the tray pops up inside the machine. You now begin to order everything you want. When you're done the tray comes out in the other end with everything you need to make a sandwich, salat or a meal (cold). No "hands and germs" and its open 24/7 with a wide variety that fits you child - no sandwich with mayo if your kid only likes butter.
