Founded in 2018 and based in Virginia, Space Initiatives Inc (SII) has developed a range of products for the Lunar Internet of Things, including “Mote” lunar penetrators and “Pankos” boxes, primarily as part of the U. S. Air Force Research Laboratory “Lawn Dart” effort. The products provide a variety of functionalities including mesh networking, seismic arraying, and navigation beacons.
