Weather balloon story board scenario is designed to train crew members to deploy and launch a balloon to collect and transfer atmospheric or terrain data. Balloon can be equipped with various instruments applicable to a specific mission needs and solar panels as power source. Those instruments are prepared and assembled indoor before EVA launch mission. Balloon as a ready to launch item can be brough from Earth or can be made in Base Camp from recycled materials (like parachute remaining). Balloon can be a single item, or a group of items each filled with hydrogen independently. Hydrogen is generated at Base Camp and stored in pressurized gas tanks. Launch site can be a walking distance from Base Camp or within a rover ride distance.
