Overview

Quellie Hacks is one of Michigan’s largest high school student hackathons in which students from all around the world can participate and gain first hand experience of the world of programming. A jam-packed 24 hour event, all participants get the opportunity to learn from informational workshops, with topics ranging from basics of python, to machine learning quickstart, and get inspired by speakers. Students of all coding levels are welcome to attend, and we’ll have mentors and moderators available all the time, to guide them every step of the way.

Quellie is a 501(c)3 non-profit STEM organization that strives to mentor and educate students from around the world about the basics of STEM. By partnering with local businesses, organizations, and schools, Quellie provides the best educational resources for people looking to kickstart their STEM careers. In our fight to close the gender gap and end discrimination, particularly in underrepresented populations, we’ve decided to make this year’s hackathon’s theme “Empowering Them”. Our hackers will focus on building projects for social good, and create an impact in the world around us.
