Duck Curve Solvers

Integrating Floating Photovoltaic (FPV) systems with Pumped Storage Hydropower (PSH) can help address California's Duck Curve by balancing the grid's supply and demand. FPV generates solar energy during the day, while PSH stores excess energy in elevated water during low-demand periods. When solar output drops in the evening, PSH releases stored energy to meet the rising demand, smoothing out the steep ramp in the Duck Curve.
