Wow, what an incredible response to the Livable Communities for our Youth Challenge! The TELUS Friendly Future Foundation team is blown away by the level of creativity, innovation, boldness and vision in the submissions we received.
Thank you to all the individuals and teams who shared with us their ideas to help make communities more livable for youth. Our judging team has selected the top 5 submissions that most closely align with the criteria and intent of this challenge. We will be reaching out to them in the coming days to discuss next steps which will include an invitation to deliver a very short pitch presentation to the judges followed by Q&A. After the pitch, the judging committee will deliberate and make a decision on who moves to the pilot stage to field trial their innovation. At that point, we will provide an update here to share the names of the winning submissions.
