We hope you had a wonderful summer. Thank you for your interest in the Livable Communities for our Youth Innovation Challenge. We were impressed by the number of submissions and short-listed five teams to present their projects to our judging panel. Of those teams, we were pleased to choose two to move on to phase 2 (pilot phase). Their proposed projects were most closely aligned with the criteria of the Innovation Challenge and the mission of TELUS Friendly Future Foundation. The two teams are: MoneyPrep, an EdTech company which focuses on financial literacy for young children and TechSpark, an organization on a mission to redesign the learning experience for all students, especially those who are underserved and marginalized. Pilot projects are currently underway and we look forward to hearing the results and seeing the impact of their innovative projects in the months ahead.
