Overview

Welcome to theĀ HeroX "Refresh The Front Stage Challenge!" Read onĀ to find out how you can winĀ BIG prizesĀ forĀ sharing yourĀ GREAT IDEAS!

The contest will be run through HeroX—"an open prize platform that empowers anyone to create breakthroughs in their company, their community, or the world." HeroX was co-founded by Peter Diamandis, founder of the XPRIZE Foundation, "which has gone on to create an incredible array of incentive prizes to solve the world's Grand Challenges—ocean health, literacy, space exploration, among many others."Ā Ā 

They do cool things.Ā And so do we.

While our challenge won't involve space travel, it will require some creativity and ingenuity. Our focus isĀ here on Earth—specifically, onĀ ourĀ 33 Fraser Avenue office.

Our challengeĀ to solve is that our officeĀ is looking outdated and needs a refresh. Labour Day 2016 marksĀ the 25th anniversary of Coach being onĀ Fraser Ave, so it's time for a new look!Ā We want to tap into YOUR creativity and innovative spirit to redesign several parts of the office to make it even more amazing for everyone.

What's being refreshed?

We will be refreshingĀ the following 5 areas:

1. Bathrooms (everything is up for grabs)

2. Workshop rooms (the carpet, the chairs, and the tables stay)

3. Stairs & reception area (flooring stays)

4. Concierge & coat room (flooring and theĀ green paint on the windows stay)

5. Café 

WhoĀ canĀ enter?

- Team members in all locations are invited to participate.

- You can enter either as an individual or as a duo.

When does it start/end?

Launch:Ā December 18, 2015

Submission Deadline:Ā February 29, 2016

- Winners will be announced at the company meeting onĀ April 5, 2016.

Rules of play:

- You have 2 months to create your submissions.

- Multiple submissions are permitted (for one area or for all).

- You may submit ideas for one or multiple areas.

- You may continue to add or fine-tune until the Feb. 29 deadline.

- By submitting, you agree that all ideas belong to Strategic Coach.

-Ā No construction is allowed (e.g., no moving walls).

- Please doĀ not inviteĀ outside contractors, designers, or consultants into the office to look around.

What are the prizes?

There will be 5 prizes, from 1st to 5th place. Winners will choose one of 3 options for each prize.

First PrizeĀ (ChooseĀ 1)

1. Free Day with $750 in spa services or lunch and iFly Experiences for 2

2. 11-inch MacBook Air

3. $1,000 cash added to your pay

Second PrizeĀ (ChooseĀ 1)

1. Free Day with $500 in spa services or lunch andĀ CNĀ TowerĀ Edge Walk for 2

2. 128GB iPad Air 2

3. $750 cash added to your pay

ThirdĀ PrizeĀ (ChooseĀ 1)

1. FreeĀ PM with lunch and iFly introductory sessions for 2

2. 64GB iPad Mini 4

3. $500Ā cash added to your pay

FourthĀ PrizeĀ (ChooseĀ 1)

1. FreeĀ PM with lunch and manicures and pedicures for 2

2. 64GB Apple TV

3. $250Ā cash added to your pay

FifthĀ PrizeĀ (ChooseĀ 1)

1. Flex at 3 p.m. for dinner at the Keg and a movie for 2

2. Apple Pencil for iPad Pro

3. $100Ā cash added to your pay

Note:

- Prizes are divided up among team members if entered as a team. If the first option is chosen, each member of the team will receive a Free Day/Free PM/Flex Time, but the rest of the prize will be divided up as appropriate for the prize. If the second option is chosen (electronic item), only one prize will be awarded for the team. If the third option is chosen, the cash will be divided up equally among the team.

Judging will be based on:

1.Ā Front Stage experience WOW factor for clients.

2. BackĀ Stage energy enhancement for the team.

3.Ā Creativity.

Submissions:

How do I submit?

- Submit online to HeroX at https://herox.com/StrategicCoachChallenge/Ā password is "Funtastic". Please note, online submissions are anonymous.

- SubmitĀ any physical samples or drawings toĀ KarenS mailbox and be sure to include your challenge nameĀ 

Submission example:

As you write your submission, include as much detail as possible.Ā In other words, do NOT simply say, "We need a new catering table." Ā That won't cut it.

Consider submitting the following:

- Design drawingsĀ orĀ models

- Photos or illustrations

- Sample materials

- Dimensions

- Possible vendors

- Cost estimates

- Paint chips
