The Best Complaint About U.S. Infrastructure is Chosen

BY NICK | 1 min read

We are proud to announce the winner in the Complain Phase of the Infrastructure Vision 2050 Challenge.

By the submission deadline, HeroX had received 40 "complaints" and, after careful review by our evaluation panel and a public vote, our award recipient is:

Jakub Kmec’s complaint Information Revolution in Transport, an essay that addressed the inefficiencies of personal transportation vehicles.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the innovators who entered this first phase of the challenge and shared their thoughts about the current state of infrastructure in the United States. While we could only select one winner for this phase, there were many other insightful ideas shared. You all make excellent gripers!

We encourage everyone to submit ideas for the Dream Phase, which is currently accepting submissions and will continue to do so until May 31, 2016. Thank you all for helping make the Complain Phase a success!

We would also like to thank all our supporters, partners, commenters and anyone else who in any way contributed to our challenge community. Without you, we would not have had the success that we did, and we look forward to your continued contributions throughout the Dream Phase and the forthcoming Build Phase.
