Here’s Your Chance to “Build” the Transportation of 2050

BY NICK | 1 min read

The research, feedback, and two successful phases are in the books. With that, the Infrastructure Vision 2050 Challenge has entered the third and final leg. Congratulations again to the winners of the "Dream" and "Complain" Phases, and all participants.

If you're just hearing about the challenge, you're in luck: we're offering one more chance to get involved with the future of US Infrastructure. This is the unique chance to showcase your long-held, unappreciated transportation solution. Recent epiphanies are also welcome.  Remember, we're not looking for a resume, just the best answer to a killer problem. Everybody gets a fair shake!

Teams entering the competition will:

  • Identify a type of high traffic travel route and consider conditions for that area.

  • Create a transportation infrastructure system that includes all successful submission elements. You'll find those in the Submission Form.

  • Include strong visual support for the idea.

The Guidelines now reflect the conditions of the Build Phase. Feel free to peruse them now, bookmark and save for later, or come back to them via the Challenge page anytime.

We'll  keep posting weekly updates on the Challenge as we move through the next few months. The forum is a great resource for questions and collaboration.

Thanks again for helping us build a vision for US infrastructure in 2050, and good luck!
