How will our society and economy bounce back from the COVID-19 pandemic?
With vaccination and re-opening plans on the horizon, we are now facing our first year adapting to the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic. With the pandemic affecting retail, education, mental health, employment, and many other sectors of society, our urgent challenge is to gain resilience from these challenges and “bounce back” in a more inclusive way.
First, submit ideas online via the platform by June 4, 2021!
Each submission will enter the regional selection, with selected initiatives from each region progressing to the Bounce Back Hackathon to develop their ideas further. Subsequently, participants will then compete on a global scale, with the ultimate winner granted a prize of up to $5,000 USD! The strongest ideas worldwide will be showcased both in an online ceremony and in the 2021 Bounce Back Innovation Catalogue.
Participants will also be able to join the Bounce Back Community, with the chance to learn from one another and “bounce back” stronger from the socioeconomic effects of COVID-19.
Do you know someone who might have an idea? Share the Bounce Back Challenge with them!
Bounce Back Ideas aims to recognise new ideas to aid COVID-19 recovery.
Bounce Back Ideas will include both global and regional awards via an online ceremony. For the regional award, the most successful ideas from the following seven regions will be awarded: USA & Canada, Latin America & the Caribbean, Europe, Middle East, Africa, Central & South Asia, and Far East & Oceania.
Regional winning teams for Bounce Back Ideas will participate in an online hackathon and work together to develop their idea further.
You can submit your idea until June 4!
