Akwai is an app where students track the steps they’re taking toward different goals. It measures the development of non-cognitive skills like accountability and growth mindset. Through the app we run a competition where students and adults develop their skills in various areas, such as improving their grades or improving workplace culture. By experiencing others' lives and advice they attain higher empathy and improve their relationship skills.
Following through on an intention has always been the cornerstone of global progress. The mission of Akwai is to understand the factors that relate to drive and execution. Through research, we create tools that will help people accomplish their aspirations.
For this competition we will also provide one of our Action Plans focused on your subject matter: Building Empathy, based on considering and experiencing the lives of others. This Action Plan will not only teach users how to build better relationships, but within the app will further that same objective by connecting multiple users. Users are able to form a collaborative network of support in which they are encouraged to send positive reinforcement to one another. The app does not only evaluate empathy upon completion of the Action Plan, but measures it weekly and compares users to one another.
