I am a Professor in the Department of Applied Mechanics and Biomedical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Madras, Chennai, India.
I have diverse research interests: Desalination, Water wave, Geological fluid flow, CFD, Porous media, Geothermal energy, Oil & gas recovery, CO2 geo-sequestration, hydrofracking etc. I work on numerical code development, stability analysis, stochastic modeling for better understanding of complex problems in fluid mechanics and geoscience. I have recently started working on innovation and development of better engineering solution to help the need of the society.
I have published 33 journal papers and presented in more than 30 conferences. I have guided 2 PhD students and 4 Master students. Presently 4 PhD and 5 Master students are working with me. I collaborate with several faculties from India, USA, Australia and Germany.
