An award-winning author and newest member of the Forbes Technology Council, Mr. Perkins is a growth CEO selected by Business Talk Magazine as one of the "Influential Business Leaders of 2021” and was also named within the Fortune India Unstoppable World’s Business Minds. He will be coming out with his new book: Cyber-Energy Nexus - The Importance and Convergence of Cyber Security and Energy in the World. Mr. Perkins has grown many startups including one of the fastest-growing microgrid integration/aggregation companies, Instant ON (IO), to secure over 3GW of contracts for projects across the US. He has helped IO to be partnered with legacy companies in the industry like Lockheed Martin Energy, Schneider Electric GreenStruxure, and Bosch. They have been named within the CEO Views Top 50 Most Innovative Companies to Watch 2020, named the Most Outstanding Microgrid Integrator 2020 in the 2020 CV Corporate Excellence Awards, and listed within the CIO Insights Top Energy Storage Providers 2020. He is also the Director of Strategy and Development for TechFlow, a 25-year-old technology company doing cybersecurity work and EV infrastructure work for the US Government. Mr. Perkins is a mentor for Scale For ClimateTech’s new Manufacturing & Engineers-inResidence program and a Scout for Elemental Excelerator. He has been a mentor for On Deck's Build for Climate program as well as the Inland Empire Energy Innovation Council. He has served as a senior advisor for the Demand Response Task Team for the California Energy Alliance helping to shape demand response policy in CA and has also worked with the California Energy Efficiency Coordinating Committee to help with energy efficiency incentives.
