“Everything can be better!”
bio
Entrepreneurial solution seeker. Mainly focused on promoting energy solutions and providing laser applications. A scientific education in physics is a solid base to stand on, which is reflected in both my professional and private interests. Progress through technology and ideas is a major passion of mine. As an example I enjoyed reading and agree with the argumentation in Peter Diamandis' book "Abundance: The Future Looks Better than you Think". Concerned mainly because of the potential end to the two main wealth builders of our time: depletion and consequences of using fossil energy and the limits to miniaturization of the silicon transistor. Studied physics at Lund University in Sweden. Continued with my diploma work and started a PhD (quit after 1 year) at Ecole Polytechnique in Paris conducting laser plasma research. The work was published in Nature magazine. As a nature lover, I am drawn to the mountains and the sea to keep me healthy and happy. A hike wherever and whenever I can, mainly around the Haute-Savoie region in France, clears the mind and nurtures the body. Sailed around Europe (from Stockholm to Athens) as captain of the boat. Skied various runs around Chamonix, France. Glad to have survived a life perspective -shaking accident in the fall of 2016. Fell and got my chest pierced by a T-profile metal pole. Miraculously I survived and can today enjoy life much like before, even though the memories stay. Proud father of our newborn Olivia who joined us on the 6th of March. Makes me work extra hard to hand over a better world to her as she grows up.
