Andrew Evan Weiss, Ph.D. is an Adult Learning Expert with 15+ years of Learning & Development, Human & Organizational Development, Workforce Development program management, and Talent Management experience acquired serving in a diverse set of professional roles. Dr. Weiss holds a B.S. from Vanderbilt University with a double major in Human & Organizational Development and History as well as a Ph.D. in History from the University of Texas at Austin.
Dr. Weiss is Founder and CEO of Weiss Ventureprises LLC, which provides strategic workforce Learning & Professional Development Management, Curriculum Design, Talent Management, and Vocational Education services. Weiss Ventureprises is also a Renewable Energy Developer, advancing the expansion of renewable power generation and training a qualified workforce to meet the increasing labor demands of the rapidly growing sustainable energy economy.
Dr. Weiss formulates, implements, and manages Workforce Development, Curriculum Design, and Learning & Development programs founded on Adult Learning Theories and Instructional Design Methodologies for CIC Energy. Programs include Renewable Energy Specialist Vocational Training and Workforce Development to meet CIC Energy's growing solar development needs focusing on Community Solar projects. Andrew collaborates with sustainable power generation SMEs to develop content and design creative hybrid learning strategies and best practices (e.g. hands-on training, eLearning, classroom teaching) to ensure successful learning outcomes that advance CIC Energy's strategic objectives. As an Adult Learning Expert, Dr. Weiss consults with and advises CIC Energy stakeholders on issues related to the firm's Workforce Development and Vocational Education programs.
Dr. Weiss is also a member of CIC Energy's funding development team. He assists in drafting prize and grant applications on issues within his purview as an Adult Learning Expert and renewable energy industry Workforce Development innovator.
