“It doesn't feel like inspiration when it is coded your DNA”
I have been making things as far back as my memory will take me, in both the digital and real world. At the age of ten, when not writing computer programs, I would construct crude robots out of junked machines, my toys, and unsupervised household appliances (Sorry Mom and Dad!). All this unwittingly prepared me for my true passion later in life: Automation and Manufacturing— the interplay of sensors, communication, control, and electromechanics.
Since then, my work life has spanned many industries ranging from the tangible products of Aerospace, Injection Molding, and CNC machining to the formless protocols of IoT/M2M, Networking, Software, and Design. Over 20 years of experience at companies large and small has culminated in launching a prototyping Lab where I spend most of my waking hours. Our doors are open to the exciting technical and manufacturing challenges of Makers, Hackers, and Entrepreneurs all over Los Angeles and Orange County.
