CHRISTOPHER SMITH TV: Development, Production, Marketing & Distribution Executive For over twenty-five years Chris Smith has worked as one of the industry’s top television station sales executive. With close ties to the decision makers in over 150 television markets, Smith has successfully developed program licensing strategies and marketing campaigns totaling more than half-a-billion dollars in revenue. Smith’s successful campaigns include The Office, 30 Rock, Friends, Full House, Family Matters, Extra, Alf, The Rosie O’Donnell Show & Access Hollywood. After graduating UCLA, Smith was hired by Lorimar Telepictures – known at the time as *Hollywood’s TV hit factory. The company was acquired by Warner Bros. studios and over a 10 year period, Smith moved up the ranks as Vice President-Syndication Sales in New York, Chicago & Los Angeles. Following the AOL – Time Warner merger, Smith left the company to form an independent television production & distribution consulting firm with a client list that included: Mark Burnett Productions, SHOWTIME, Classic Media, Sinclair Broadcasting, L.E.K., Brook Knoll Advisors, Digital Convergence Corp., Genesis X-national Entertainment, Astral Media, Corus Entertainment, Nordic World, Channel Four Television Corp.& OutTV. In 2002, Smith joined NBC Domestic TV Distribution to head all Western station sales efforts. Currently, he serves as Vice President NBC-Universal television syndication and Southern California Co-Lead of the NBC Universal, Hispanic employee resource group-UNIDOS (900+ members) An avid hiker, Smith resides in Burbank with his daughter Samantha Rose & their dog Biggs
