Mrs. Cory Sangrey-Billy, Chief Thunderbird Women enrolled member of the Chippewa Cree Tribe. President of Stone Child College since 2018, has been an SCC employee since 2006. Worked as Dean of Academics at SCC from 2006-2018, 2001-2006 as the NACTEP Program Coordinator. Has over 20 years of experience working in higher education at the Tribal College level. Works to maintain a positive relationship between the College, the Chippewa Cree Tribal Business Committee, Tribal Departments, U.S. Government agencies, area high schools, accreditation associations, and the organization’s SCC belongs to. Career goals are to continue to work with community, develop and offer educational programs that align with the community needs. Sangrey-Billy was instrumental in helping SCC establish both bachelor's degrees, in elementary education and early childhood. She strives to preserve and maintain the Chippewa Cree language and culture. Cory enjoys spending time with her family; husband Cameron, son Payson and daughter Presleigh. She graduated with her bachelor's degree from MSU-Northern and with her master's of science degree from the University of Great Falls.
