I completed my MFA in furniture design but my work combines many aspects and aesthetics of sculpture to produce sculptural and conceptual furniture. My furniture is used to tell a narrative or to express sociological and environmental issues of the day. Lately, I have been focusing on the issue of sustainability and the choice of materials I employ in my own work. This has led to a reevaluation of what to make furniture out of and how to use readily available materials in a new and inventive fashion.
