With a strong belief that a low carbon future is forged by integrative architecture and engineering, Tommy’s purpose is to re-imagine the built environment as an opportunity to be regenerative and adaptive for a more sustainable tomorrow. As Director of Integrative Energy Engineering (HKS), he delivers high-performance integrated building design and re-positioning of existing buildings
through detailed whole-building energy analysis. He is highly proficient in building physics, energy evaluation, diagnostics and analysis, dynamic predictive building simulation, complex HVAC, lighting, power and control systems. Tommy has a track record of leading energy focused projects with deep dives in computational building and behavioral analytics while providing for creative and holistic approaches to sustainable design. Tommy is also an Adjunct Professor at the Illinois Institute of Technology.
