I am an entrepreneur and a scientist. My experience in founding my own business will serve me well for various reasons. For example, besides having acquired the necessary administrative and organizational skills required to run a business successfully, the nature of my particular business required the development of several entirely novel and creative products (many of them patentable) from the concept stage, through the prototyping and test phase, to the industrial production stage. As concerning my background in science, I have a Master's degree in Cell Biology from the University of California, Irvine. I have taught various classes at the University and Community College level. Among the subjects I have taught at the college level are General Chemistry, Advanced Cell Biology (Advanced Biochemistry) and Advanced Immunology. I have taught college classes at Salt Lake Community College, Steven's Henager Community College, Utah Valley University and the University of California, Irvine.
