Eric Morrison – background statement Scientist with 35 years of experience working in chemistry, materials science and nanotechnology. Educational background is a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from the University of Minnesota Minneapolis, Minnesota and a PhD in Chemistry from Penn State University at University Park, Pennsylvania, where all of the requirements for the Organic and Inorganic chemistry areas were met. Professional career started at 3M in the Industrial and Consumer Sector Central Research lab, with emphasis was on development of nanoparticulate systems including precursors for ceramics and coatings. Completed all the coursework required for a master’s degree in Chemical Engineering and Materials Science from the University of Minnesota College of Science and Engineering in 1993. Continued nanotechnology development at Imation from 1997 to 2000 and Samsung Electronics from 2000 through 2003 as a research group leader and manager of the analytical, regulatory and scale up groups, completing Samsung Six Sigma Green Belt training. From 2004 through 2012 worked on nanotechnology based lubricants as a Senior Scientist for Ecolab Brewery / Beverage Group in Food and Beverage Division. In 2013 worked as Senior Scientist at Segetis on polymer systems based on plant derived levulinic acid and EarthClean as Vice President of R & D working on environmentally friendly fire suppressants. Worked as consultant and contract employee for companies including 3M and Cargill from 2014 through 2016. Founded Dynation LLC in 2014 and Superior Nano in 2019, working on drug delivery nanoparticles. Overall, worked in factories and laboratories in the Canada, Italy and Germany and in 20 states in the continental US and is an inventor on over sixty issued US Patents, 5 pending patents, and an author on 25 scientific publications and presentations.
