“I am inspired by questions and finding problems to solve.”
I was born in and grew up in the Salt Lake area in Utah. My interest in space and technology was inspired by my parents, my family, and by tv shows and movies I've seen growing up. After graduating high school, I attended Snow College studying engineering, before transferring to Utah State University first studying computer science, then mechanical engineering, before finally graduating with a degree in Applied Physics.
At USU, I was heavily involved with the USU Rocketry Club, being one of the founding members of the revitalized version of the club, participating in the 2018 USU Spaceport America Cup team, as well as multiple other projects such as a two stage altitude attempt to 50k feet. I was also involved in the Get Away Special Team, helping to launch a 1U cubesat to Low Earth Orbit through the International Space Station.
